Why choose serviced apartments?

All of our apartments offer large, spacious living areas with separate bedrooms, bathrooms, a full kitchen and laundry. They offer a home away from home and are larger than an average hotel room, ideal for anyone who wants to have the facility to cook their own meals, or just additional space for the family.

Is linen provided?

Yes, all bed linen, pillows & towels are provided.

Are pool towels provided?

Yes, pool towels will be provided in your apartment or bungalow.

Can a cot be provided?

Yes, we can supply a portable cot on request.

How often are the rooms serviced?

All apartments are fully self-contained and therefore are not serviced daily. However, if the duration of your stay with us is 7 nights or more, you will receive a full mid-week service. This includes a linen change and replenishment of all items.

Is there a cost for car parking?

There is ample parking at the property and is provided free of charge.

Is there a restaurant on site?

As our apartments are self-catering, we do not have a restaurant on site. There are several restaurants nearby and further information is available at check-in.

What internet facilities are available?

Unlimited free WiFi is available to all Seashells guests.

How far from the airport are you?

Broome Airport is approximately 7km from the property. Taxi fares are estimated at $30 AUD- one-way. There is also an airport shuttle bus called Broome Transit that meets each flight. The bus will stop outside Seashells Broome and costs $20 per adult, kids under 12yrs free. Broome Transit does not take advanced bookings, instead see their desk in the arrivals area to book onto the next bus.

Do all apartments have ocean views?

No, the property is located approximately 300 meters from the beach.

How many floors does the property have?

The 1 & 2 bedroom apartments are located in a 2 storey block with external stair access only. The 3 bedroom bungalows are free standing single storey buildings.

How do I confirm my booking?

For bookings made at the ‘Flexible’ rate, the first night’s accommodation will be charged to the credit card provided as a deposit, the balance of your accommodation will be charged upon arrival, except for July and August bookings where full payment is due 21 days prior to arrival. For all other special rates that are discounted below the ‘Flexible Rate’, prepayment in full is required at the time of reservation and will be charged to the credit card provided. Please note all credit card transactions will incur a 1.5% fee.

How do I cancel my booking?

All bookings in July and August which are cancelled will forfeit their deposit. Cancellations will only be accepted on bookings made at the Flexible Rate. Cancellations made under this rate, will incur a $50 processing fee to be deducted from your refund. If less than 21 days notice is given, your deposit will be forfeited. For all other rates, cancellations or refunds will not be accepted. Amendments are subject to approval and may incur a $50 processing fee. Rates cannot be amended once bookings are confirmed and specials cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

What are the check in & out times?

Check in is at 2pm, check out at 10am. We will do our best to be ready for you at 2pm but some delays may be experienced due to the North West's current staff shortages. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Please note you are able to use our pool, change room and storage facilities on arrival.

When is the reception open?

8am to 6pm daily. (Hours may vary seasonally and on public holidays)

How do I check-in after hours?

Keys will be left in a secure late box at the main entrance, the code to access the box will be provided upon reservation confirmation.

What is required at check-in?

Where there is a balance of accommodation due, this must be paid upon check-in. All guests are also required to provide a valid credit card for pre-authorisation. Cash bonds will not be accepted.

Is there a day room rate?

Yes, subject to availability, 2pm check out is available at 50% of the daily room rate.

What is your extra person policy?

Room capacities shown indicate the maximum number of guest permitted. Rollaway beds can be provided at a cost of $40 per night. Cots and highchairs are provided free of charge.

What is your party policy?

Seashells properties encourage guests to enjoy their stay whilst keeping in the mind the enjoyments of others. We kindly ask that all guests are quiet by 9pm. Whilst guests can have visitors, we strictly prohibit parties in any of our apartments. Guests not adhering to this policy will be asked to leave the premises and may not be refunded.

How old do I need to be to stay?

Guests must be 18 years or over to book a room with Seashells, and must be a legal parent or guardian of the remaining guests, if they are under 18. Photo identification maybe requested upon check in.

Do you allow pets?

No pets are allowed at the property.  Guide or assistance dogs are the only exception.

Can I purchase a Seashells Broome bed?

Yes! We agree there’s nothing like the overwhelming feeling of relaxation and relief when finally reaching your hotel after hours of travelling. It doesn’t get much better than leaving behind a cramped plane or long stretch of driving, and flopping onto a freshly made hotel bed with crisp white sheets, soft pillows, and a comfy mattress.
