Take a [coffee] break at Seashells Mandurah
Guests and visitors to Seashells Mandurah are now able to enjoy a freshly made coffee and treats in the comfort of the property, thanks to the installation of a new pop up Mooba café.
Serving Mooba’s own blend of freshly roasted Five Senses Coffee, plus a range of breakfast treats including toasties, bircher muesli, cookies, slices and freshly toasted banana bread, the pop up café will be open each morning from 14 to 27 April in a trial period.
Mooba owner and manager Mark Dillon said the idea of the pop-up came from his love of creating spaces to relax and enjoy great coffee.
“Mooba is all about finding a space and building a place that is more than a café. For example, in Cockburn we’re based in a sea container, and in Wembley we’re in just a small space that has now become the hub of Wembley.
“I’ve stayed at Seashells Mandurah over the past few years and I felt the addition of a cruisey pop-up cafe would provide a great service to Seashells guests.”
Seashells Mandurah General Manager Bram Newbold said the pop-up café was a great initiative and would provide a new offering to guests.
“Mooba pop-up will provide a place to relax, with both lounge and milk crate seating. Of course, guests are also welcome to take their coffee back up to their rooms to enjoy the beautiful view.
“Based on the response we receive over the two weeks we are hoping to be able to make the pop-up a semi-permanent installation at Seashells Mandurah.”
Guests can place an order from the comfort of their apartment via SMS to 0481 121 786, or take advantage of Seashells Mandurah’s free WiFi and order through the Mooba web app.
