Tropical swimming pool at Seashells Broome

What a croc!

There were no crocodile tears at Seashells Broome today following a check-in with a difference.

General Manager Deb Williams was working in her office, when she suddenly spotted one of her guests with a baby crocodile, which was making it’s way across the property’s front entry.

“I’ve been working here for four years, and have never seen anything like this before,” Deb said.

“We brought it inside and managed to put it in the first thing I could find – an esky – and called the Malcolm Douglas Broome Crocodile Park for assistance.

“They came round and collected it straight away and will keep it at the park.

“I’m glad it was OK and didn’t make it as far as our tropical swimming pool!”

According to the Park’s wildlife officer, the croc appeared a little malnourished and looked as if it had been on its own for some time.

Seashells Broome is located just 300 metres from the stunning Cable Beach and provides a choice of 4.5 star AAA rated fully self-contained apartments and bungalows.
