Seashells Mandurah receives more accolades
The luxury Seashells Resort Mandurah has received further recognition by winning a 2008 Western Australian Tourism Award for Deluxe Accommodation, announced in Perth last night.
In a field of nine worthy finalists, the Seashells Resort Mandurah won the category, which was judged on the quality of both the facility and its service standards.
Seashells Hospitality Group Managing Director Paul King said the award confirmed the quality of the Group’s offering of 4½ star AAA rated, apartmentstyle tourism accommodation.
“Gaining industry recognition for the Seashells Resort Mandurah is so rewarding for our team, our clients, and suppliers.
“The Resort won the award for Best New Tourism Development in the 2006 Western Australian Tourism Awards and a High Commendation in the National Awards, so to continue to win awards two years after opening confirms that our service and facility standards remain at the top of the field.”
Seashells Resort Mandurah represents one of the most major hospitality developments in WA in recent years.
The first stage of these luxury affordable self-contained beachside apartments opened in December 2005 with 32 one-bedroom and 24 two-bedroom apartments and 14 luxury 3-bedroom 2-bathroom beach villas.
