JarrahWood Estate is the wine venture of Seashells Founder & Managing Director Paul King, based in the Brookhampton region of Western Australia’s Geographe wine country.
Since the King family acquired the property in 2020, the estate has been thoughtfully developed as a family-led project with a long-term vision shaped by place, quality and care. It now sits proudly alongside Seashells as part of a broader West Australian story.
Located in the South West of Western Australia, the Geographe region is one of the state’s most diverse wine areas. Home to 57 growers, 26 producers and 36 grape varieties, it benefits from a temperate Mediterranean climate, maritime influences from the Indian Ocean and a mix of coastal plains and elevated slopes. These conditions allow for slow ripening and wines with balanced acidity, depth and regional character.
JarrahWood Estate’s vineyard heritage dates back to the 1850s, and today it brings together that history, hands-on winemaking and the distinct character of Geographe. Each wine reflects the estate itself — expressive, grounded and true to its surroundings.
