Fremantle Arts Centre
With contemporary visual art exhibitions, artist residencies, concerts, art courses, a shop and café, Fremantle Arts Centre is one of the state’s premier arts institutions. Reopening on Monday 15 June, there’s much to see with the Revealed 2020 New and Emerging WA Aboriginal Artists exhibition and the beautiful Found shop & cafe. Moores Building
Located in Fremantle’s historic west end, the Moores Building Contemporary Art Gallery presents a diverse showcase of contemporary art by local and national artists in low cost heritage exhibition and project spaces. And there's a great cafe too! Reopening 29 June.
Kidogo Arthouse
Kidogo Arthouse is an independent oceanfront art centre & events venue with 2 galleries & a courtyard and an occasional pop up bar in a charming heritage building, the Old Kerosene Store.
Glen Cowans’ Studio at the Roundhouse
A photographic gallery dedicated to the ocean by local photographer Glen Cowan, located in iconic space in a cottage at Fremantle's Roundhouse. Temporarily closed due to COVID-19.

George Street, East Fremantle

Lining both sides of Market Street is an array of fashion stores with a strong and stylish menswear offering plus plenty of choice for women including Dangerfield, WA's own Bob's Shoe Store and the flagship store for fellow WA brand Morrison. Explore new street side shops on Cantonment Street and Atwell Arcade, High Street Mall and King's Square.
West End
Enjoy some iconic Fremantle boutiques, galleries, book shops and gift stores in Freo's historic West End.
There's Australian South Sea pearls at Kailis Jewellery on Collie Street, yarns, maps and footwear. On High Street, find Three Stories, Common Ground, menswear stores, Remedy, Bodkins Bootery, Kartique, Ame Belle and much more. There's second hand bookstores, vintage vinyl, high end fashion and jewellery stores complete the offering. New Edition Bookshop is an institution.
Nature Lovers
Swan River
The Swan River is just across the road from Seashells Fremantle and it provides the perfect opportunity to take a stroll along the foreshore path and enjoy the fresh air and plethora of birdlife along the way. Rottnest Island

WA Maritime Museum
The WA Maritime Museum is symbolic of Fremantle’s past, present and future as a coastal city and port. It houses several galleries that explore WA's maritime relationship from leisure boats and handcrafted sailing boats to commercial pearl luggers. The Museum is home to the winning America's Cup yacht, Australia II, an Oberon class submarine — HMAS Ovens, Jon Sanders’ Parry Endeavour and many other iconic vessels from WA's maritime history.
