Art Lovers
The Art Space Collective is a community art space – an inspired and innovative community hub in Scarborough. Run by a team of skilled, dedicated, humorous and exceedingly elegant volunteers, the Art Space Collective houses Scarborough’s first gallery alongside an area for artisan workshops where creatives, and normal people, can come together to connect with art, ideas and each other!

The Tjunta Trail reflects the dreamtime story of children who went missing and the spirit woman Tjunta who finds them. The story is told in five episodes around the Scarborough foreshore. To follow the heritage trail, click here.

Whale Playground
The Lotterywest Whale Playground is full of unique and creative play elements that will keep kids entertained for hours on end.There's a life-size whale skeleton with a slide, monkey bars, ladders, swings and netted tunnels plus a huge cubbyhouse, spinning disks, climbing pods and sensory play elements. The playground is an art piece, inspired by stories from the Noongar culture where the belief is a whale will beach itself when it comes to the end of its life so it can return an ancestor’s spirit to the land. The skeleton was designed by artist Jahne Rees.

Go Surf Perth provides surf lessons for anyone who is looking to improve their surfing ability. Lessons available for kids and adults in groups or private tuition. Classes based at Brighton Beach, which is the southern end of Scarborough Beach. GoSurf Perth is owned and run by father and son team, Andy and Tom “Bomber” Johnston.
