Seashells adopts fresh look for award-winning beachside accommodation

Seashells Hospitality Group has a fresh new brand identity to represent its range of 4.5 star deluxe apartments located along the West Australian coast.

Designed by Subiaco-based creative design house First Nature, the new identity is contemporary but retains the essence of the original brand.

Seashells Managing Director Paul King said the original brand was 20 years old and created when the company operated one property, located in Scarborough.

“We now have short stay apartment accommodation in Yallingup, Mandurah and Broome in addition to Scarborough, all located in idyllic beachside locations. Our business has also expanded to include function facilities at our Mandurah and Yallingup properties as well as the iconic Caves House restaurant and bar.

“As well as representing our current business, the brand identity also allows us to grow when appropriate opportunities arise,” Mr King said.

“The new brand embraces our connection with the ocean as well as being a bit whimsical and down-to-earth.

“Seashells is about allowing families and couples the chance to relax and be together at some of WA’s best coastal locations and I believe the new identity really represents this,” he said.
“We plan to extend our sponsorships and donations to further support WA’s ocean environment.”

The new branding coincides with the Seashells head office moving to more modern and functional premises in Jolimont.

Steve Binnie from First Nature said the design incorporated the Nautilus shell as the foundation and built on this with bursts of water, and decorative lettering, forming an ‘S’ to represent Seashells.

“The use of rounded shapes creates a friendly feel, yet the overall impression is one of sophistication. It is a strong, dynamic mark, symbolising growth, energy, the sea and fun – everything Seashells is about.”

To celebrate its 20th birthday and to mark the new brand, Seashells is offering $20 Sundays!
