Proudly supporting the Starlight Children’s Foundation
Sunday the 16th March is a big day for WA teddy bears, as they join their owners for the second annual Teddy Bears Picnic, in the gardens of Caves House Hotel.
The Teddy Bears Picnic, created by Seashells Hospitality Group, is a family charity event for the South West community raising funds for the Starlight Children’s Foundation. The 2008 event is set to attract over 1000 people and will support Starlight in brightening the lives of seriously ill and hospitalised children and their families across Australia.
Hosted by Natalia Cooper, the day will offer an array of entertainment, including free teddy bear parades with prizes, face painting, bouncy castle and slide, petting zoo, the Punky Panda show, appearances by Captain Starlight and much more. There will also be music by The Soul Survivors and a live broadcast on RadioWest.
Food and drinks, including a sausage sizzle, will be available for purchase, or feel free to enjoy your own picnic in the garden. Mums and dads, no BYO alcohol is permitted, but drinks will be available at the Caves House Hotel bar.
